The General Studies Certificate recognizes the successful completion of 31 credit hours of general education core courses. This certificate documents the student’s mastery of the skills and competencies needed to be successful in the workforce and to pursue further education. This certificate requires the completion of 31 credit hours with a minimum 2.00 cumulative grade-point average.
In general, courses taken to satisfy degree requirements must have a grade of “C” or better in order to transfer to a four-year institution.
