The Associate of Applied Science in Business - Accounting Option is a two-year associate degree designed to prepare students for entry-level and clerical accounting positions wthin business and governmental organizations. Learners receive training in recording business transactions, financial statement analysis is also provided. Particular emphasis is placed on training in computerized accounting software and the creation of financial spreadsheets. Related course work is studied to assist the learner in becoming well-informed in all aspects of the business environmemt.
