Program Overview
The Technical Certificate in Dental Assisting is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills for all areas of the modern dental office, including the dental operatory, laboratory and the business office. Upon successful progam completion, students are eligible to sit for the Dental Assisting National Board certification and to apply for registration with the Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners. The program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association.
Degree Requirements
-The TC Dental Assisting is 43 credit hours and requires special program fees beyond current tuition and college fees.
-In general, you must have a grade of “C” or better to transfer courses to a four-year institution.
-The Dental Assisting Program requires you must have a grade of “C” or better to continue in the program.
-Satisfaction of all financial obligations due to the college is required for graduation.
