FILM 20203 - Introduction to Film Credit Hours: 3
This course is designed to enhance the understanding and appreciation of cinema as one of the major art forms of the 20th and 21st centuries. Students study various film techniques and terminology, as well as a variety of films. Students learn to observe films more closely and critically and become active participants in the film experience.

Prerequisite(s): Must meet one of the following requirements
- A minimum score of 19 on the Reading section of the ACT.
- A minimum score of 78 on the Accuplacer Reading Comprehension Placement test.
- A minimum score of 253 on the Accuplacer Next Gen Reading Placement test.
- Completion of READ 03003 (Foundations of Literacy) with a grade of “C” or better.
