DENT 15004 - Dental Materials I

Credit Hours: 4

This course provides students with an understanding of the physical, mechanical and chemical properties of various dental materials used in intraoral and lab procedures. Students gain competence through lecture and lab classes utilizing hands-on experience with manipulation, fabrication and comparison of materials including dental cements, impression materials, restorative materials, provisional coverage and orthodontic and study cast.
