ASTE 24010 - Electrical Fundamentals

Credit Hours: 10

This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of electricity/electronics, including Ohm’s law, basic electrical circuits, wiring diagrams and common electrical symbols. Emphasis is placed on diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical circuits, including familiarization with the most common types of testing equipment. Starting systems, charging systems, microprocessors, sensors, actuators, and power distribution networks are covered in the course.
