HVAC 1204 - Principles of HVACR II
Credit Hours: 4
Using the basics learned in Principles of HVACR I, students will learn to troubleshoot a mechanical refrigeration system using the temperature and pressure relationship. Accessories involved in the installation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems will be discussed. Copper brazing, PVC pipe installation and sheet metal fabrication techniques will be studied and the student will learn the proper techniques for the installation of each. Code issues dealing with proper installation, sizing, and safety will be discussed along with proper design and implementation of duct work, gas piping, and electrical supply.
Prerequisite(s):
HVAC 1104 .
